Gods Word will not return void. Isaiah 55:11. Memorize that verse. It will change your lives. Living for wife, family and yes even self are all very worthy endeavors. But — seeing God Work through His Word is an amazing experience. Christians miss out on it because of not taking the time to share their faith with others. Don’t miss out on Heavenly treasures—human souls that are sacred to God. We don’t have because we don’t ask. This concept is found in the King James Bible in James 4:2-3. James 4:2 states, “…ye have not, because ye ask not” (KJV), highlighting that failing to pray is a reason for lacking, while James 4:3 adds that selfish motives (“asking amiss”) also prevent receiving. Having others in our Monday Bible & Book Group praying for souls to be saved before we meet again was my real motivation to take the time to go back to the young man at Sams.
